We are currently accepting qualified applications for a Mid-Level Nurse Practitioner to support one of our government clients at the  
  • The Nurse Practitioner shall have a minimum of twenty-four (24) months of experience within their specialty unless otherwise approved by the Contracting Officer.
  • The Nurse Practitioner shall possess a current, valid, unrestricted medical license in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States, throughout the term of this contract.
  • The Nurse Practitioner shall have Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for all specialties.
  • HCP must have or obtain a current, valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration number prior to performing the contract services.Any change to the DEA requirements to obtain a valid DEA registration number is applicable when the incumbent's existing DEA registration expires.
  • The Nurse Practitioner shall be able to read, write, and speak English well enough and enunciate with sufficient clarity to effectively communicate with patients and other health care providers.
  • The Nurse Practitioner must possess sufficient initiative, interpersonal relationship skills and social sensitivity such that the Nurse Practitioner can relate to a variety of patients from diverse backgrounds.
Performance-Based Requirements:
The Nurse Practitioner shall provide medical services in the delivery of patient care to the Indian Health Service. Specific tasks include the following:
  • The Nurse Practitioner shall perform medical duties and manage patient's needs as described in the (PD), identified by the Service Unit and as directed by Supervisor.
  • The Nurse Practitioner shall perform in accordance with the approved privileges through the credentialing process.
  • The Nurse Practitioner shall abide by the Gallup Service Unit Medical and Dental Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations.
