We are currently accepting qualified applications for a Physician Assistant to support one of our Government clients at Hill AFB (Salt Lake City, UT).
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in occupational medicine and a completion of residency or fellowship in occupational medicine acceptable to the Air Force Surgeon General, and certification by the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Occupational Medicine is mandatory.
  • Currency must be demonstrated by documented, clinical, occupational medicine experience during the past two years.
  • As a certified PA; properly evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients of the OMS clinic as directed by the COM or the appointed OMS physician or physicians.
  • Professional knowledge of occupational medicine practices, principles, and theories to carry professional responsibility for cases involving a wide range of injury and illnesses.
  • Knowledge of physical, chemical, biological, and/or radiological workplace hazards, the health effects of each on individuals and groups of workers, and the prevention of adverse health effects.
  • Ability to directly apply professional assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills to individuals and groups of workers.
  • Knowledge of administrative requirements for proper documentation of patient care and assessment.
  • Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
Education and Licensure:
  • Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree through a PA training program
  • Residency (12 months or more) or proof of training in Occupational Medicine
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
  • Licensure in any US Jurisdiction as a PA
  • State Controlled Substance Registration
  • Federal DEA registration
  • NPI Registration
  • Basic Life Support Certification
